Information about Area Education Grants (AEG)

Dear Teachers and Administrators,

The Foundation for the Tri-State Community and the Area Education Grants Advisory Board are pleased to invite Boyd and Greenup County teachers to apply for AEG funds for the '16-'17 school year.

While no separate application is required, teachers must post their innovative classroom projects on DonorsChoose.org between August 1 and September 30 to be considered for funding.  AEG will award up to $500 per project, and funds will be awarded to the most creative and effective projects on a first come, first serve basis.

Here is a short instructional video about how to post a project to DonorsChoose.org.

Please help spread the word about this wonderful opportunity to provide additional classroom experiences for Ashland-area students!  If anyone has questions, I'm available by email or phone, at the number listed below.

Happy posting and best wishes for a successful school year!
